CAREERS Front End (ReactJS) Engineer

To help us build functional systems that improve clients experience we are looking for an experienced Front End Engineer who has experience with the ReactJS framework to join our team. They will be responsible for assisting us developing web solutions for our clients, implementing front end solutions that meet our clients' needs. If you have a solid background in ReactJS and are familiar with web development, we’d love to speak with you.

Objectives of this Role

  • Responsible for architecting and defining the Front-End framework/s to solve complex designs and interactions that reflect the creative and art direction provided by the Design team.
  • Responsible for creation of all coded Front-end deliverables, using HTML, CSS and Javascript, in accordance with the coding standards in place.
  • Collaborate with the UI designer to convert mockups into pixel-perfect responsive HTML and React code.
  • Able to shift between a creative and a technical focus depending on the project need and/or the type of project.
  • Identifies new opportunities for the business projects from the Front End perspective, developing and communicating innovative ideas.
  • Participates in developing supporting proposal materials for projects.
  • Participates in scoping and planning work, in accordance with the software development life cycle.
  • Collaborate with the backend developer to connect REST APIs.
  • Be a thought leader in the Front-End technologies and space.
  • Ability to bring creative ideas on interaction design, for better UI and UX.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of ReactJS & Redux experience.
  • Experience with Git and development tools (GitHub / Bitbucket, Jenkins).
  • Javascript es6.
  • Ajax / REST / full-stack integration.
  • Advance CSS, SASS, & Typescript.
  • JS animation (gsap or equivalent).
  • CSS keyframe animation.
  • SVG manipulation.

Beneficial Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in building software for businesses in the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of OOP, MySQL, MongoDB, and SQL Server.
  • Collaborate with the UI designer to convert mockups into pixel-perfect responsive HTML and React code.
  • Exposure or direct experience with AWS Services and deployment.
  • Exposure or direct experience with New Relic.
  • Experienced working within an Agile Methodology.
